why foster with us?

why choose us?

why choose us?

We always aim to keep children in their local area when it is right for them. We work as a team to build better futures for children, not for profit.

We’re part of the national network of not-for-profit Local Authority fostering services across Wales. So, we can offer the best of both worlds: national funding and a standardised package of training and generous rewards, plus a whole host of local, community-level expertise and services.

our mission

We work as a network to support and encourage Welsh adults to become foster carers and help make a difference in the lives of children in their local community. We then provide support and training to help match children with a home and family environment where they can thrive.

our support

If you’re looking for reasons to become a foster parent in Ceredigion, the excellent support system we have is one of them.

Each of our carers, and children in our care, have a complete local support network, so you never feel alone. This includes dedicated expertise from professionals, advice and friendship from other carers, and training from our team to help you on your fostering journey.

our ways of working

As a network, connections and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do.

We really get to know you and become a familiar face, integrating with your life to provide necessary support and training, and to pass on the resources of our national network.

It takes a village to raise a child, and each one is different. So, we work with our team of foster carers and staff to adapt, develop and provide the best possible support unit. We support and grow the talents of our foster parents, to help make them the best they can be.

your choice

Choosing Foster Wales Ceredigion is a decision to work with real people who care, in the heart of your community. To join a team, to learn, and to make a difference in the lives of Welsh children.
